The award ceremony took place on April 16, 2016, at the Tovstonogov Bolshoi Drama Theatre. The winners in their respective categories were:
Grand Prix “Pop-Mechanica”: Saint Petersburg Improvisational Orchestra, conducted by Dm
itry Shubin, with the project “Gadgetophilia”.
Best Visual Art: Alexander Shishkin-Hokusai for “Bath of Marat”.
Best Media Object: Sergey Filatov for “Orpheus. The Song of the Whales”.
Best Public Art: Dmitry Kawarga and Elena Kawarga for “Inhabited Substance”.
Best Curatorial Project: Vitaly Patsyukov and Anastasia Kozachenko for the “DADA” festival.
Best Text on Contemporary Art: Igor Ponosov for “Art and the City” and Ivan Chechot for “From Beckmann to Breker: Articles and Fragments”.
Electro-Mechanica: Igor Starshinov.
Ethno-Mechanica: Sergey Starostin.
