Fear not, globalization has detoured the aorta of Arco; a fair that has long been heralded as one of the most premier international art events, and unlike most fairs today, is clearly known for it’s trusted diction towards exhibiting cultural boundaries,В true to where we (artists) call home. This coming together, which is held in Madrid, Spain, on the 17th – 21st of February,2010, is a commitment of over 200 galleries and 1000 artists, from around the world, all spotlighting the importance of cultural and personal identity, it’s preservation, through contemporary art, and it’s circulation.

Пирожки в галерее Анны Франц, шампанское на квартирнике Натальи Лях

В этот раз показывали новые работы питерского художника Виталия Пушницкого, объединенные общей темой — ожоги на бумаге. Прожженные листы напоминают графические рисунки, выполненные в 3D: там, где на листе отпечатался ожог, бумага становится объемной, словно набухает, и в ней можно разглядеть окно, а порой и дверь неизвестно куда.

Marina Koldobskaya is contemporary Russian artist, based in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Born in 1961 in Leningrad, USSRIn 1985, graduated from High School of Art and Design, n.a. V. Mukhina in Leningrad (now Academy of design n.a. A.Stiglitz), specializing in design.In mid-80es, in Perestroika time, started to participate in exhibitions as a freelance artist.
