This is a total installation combining sound art, video, graphics, and participatory practices.
The exhibition centers on Evgenia Tarasova’s graphic–poetic series “Flow and Code. 100 Haikus on Punch Cards” and Sergey Komarov’s “CYLAND Audio Archive (CAA)”. These works are linked by themes: analog technology, archive, authorship, presence, and ritual.
The project addresses the context of digitalization and revisits poetic forms and methods of writing—applicable to both music and calligraphy/poetry. A key focus is the relationship to the present moment. The exhibition also raises questions about authorship. Perhaps authorship is nothing more than a technology—from mechanically recording sound onto vinyl to co-writing haiku texts with AI.
Here, the artist acts as a conduit—as a mystic or shaman—and the exhibition space refers to ritual. The viewer plays the same role, and is invited to alter the space through their presence.
